TISL alumni created the Endowment Fund in 1981 to improve TISL's financial base. Initial contributions from David Lillard Jr., Mat Lipscomb, Douglas Littlejohn, Greg Gallagher and Jeff Wilson were supplemented by numerous private donations, many of which were solicited by Patrick G. Prill. The fund was largely untapped until the late 1990s, which allowed the balance to enjoy compounded growth. The balance in mid-2006 was about $18,000. The endowment fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. |
