
MILIND CHATURVEDI

Hometown: Johnson City, TN
Milind Chaturvedi will be serving as the Governor for the 57th General Assembly. This will be his fourth year at TISL. Prior to this Milind served his first year at TISL as a legislator in the House and then the following two years as treasurer. At East Tennessee State University, Milind serves in the Entrepreneurship Club, Students of Finance Association, Economics Club, American Marketing Association, Muslim Student Association, Catholic Club, Buccaneer Investment Fund, and KPI & Co. Outside of school, Milind is a Technology Advancement Assistant with LaunchTN and enjoys reading in his free time.
Once Milind obtains his bachelor's at East Tennessee State University, he plans to further his education and get a Masters of Science in Finance and enter the workforce in Venture Capital. He would love to work with cutting edge companies at the forefront of American innovation. He is a proud American (best country ever) and hopes to further America’s technological edge in the current geopolitical landscape.

JADAH FREEMAN
Secretary of State
Jadah Freeman is a Health and Human Performance major on the Pre-Dentistry track at the University of Tennessee at Martin, Class of 2027, and a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She currently serves as the Secretary of State for the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL).
Jadah previously served as Head Delegate for Southwest Tennessee Community College during the 56th General Assembly and as a House Representative in the 57th General Assembly, where she also chaired the Black Caucus. She also served as Secretary of the Student Government at Southwest Tennessee Community College, gaining valuable experience in leadership, organization, and advocacy. With a strong background in student leadership and civic engagement, Jadah plans to pursue a career in dentistry focused on patient-centered care, community outreach, and improving access to oral healthcare.

CHARLIE DORSET
Attorney General
Charlie will serve as the Attorney General of the Tennessee Intercollegiate Supreme Court for the 56th General Assembly (GA). This will be his fourth year in TISL and his first year serving on the Executive Council. Charlie has previously served as a representative in the 54th GA, senator and ETSU Head Delegate in the 55th GA, and as a lawyer and ETSU Head Delegate in the 56th GA.
At East Tennessee State University, Charlie serves as an ETSU Student Foundation Ambassador, Mock Trial Vice President of Finance, ETSU Votes Co-Chair, and is a Global Citizen Scholar in the Honors College. Outside of college, Charlie works as a Kroger Pickup Department Lead and Union Steward, where he defends employees under a union contract and gains experience in the business operations of one of the largest grocery retailers in North America.
After graduating from East Tennessee State University, Charlie plans to attend law school in Tennessee to pursue a career in corporate business law.

ANT GRIFFIN
Lt. Governor and Speaker of the Senate
University of Memphis
Class of 2026, B.A. in Political Science & History
Hometown: Cookeville, TN
Anthony Griffin will be serving as the Lt. Governor and Speaker of the Senate for the 56th General Assembly. This will be his fourth year participating in TISL and his first year serving on the Executive Council. In previous years, Anthony served as a Senator and Head Delegate,of the University of Memphis’ delegation.
At the University of Memphis, Anthony is actively engaged in civic life. He is involved with the Student Government Association as associate justice on the SGA’s court.
Outside of the university, Anthony has gained hands-on political experience through campaign work for the Tennessee House of Representatives. In his free time he enjoys New York Knick basketball, and spending time outdoors with his friends.
After graduating, Anthony plans to pursue a career in public service, with the goal of working in a government department and eventually making his own run for office!

HANNAH FERREIRA
Speaker Pro Tem of the Senate
Middle Tennessee State University
Class of 2026, B.S. in Political Science and Psychology, Pre-Law Concentration and University Honors Minor
Hometown: Clarksville, TN
Hannah Ferreira will be serving as the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Senate for the 57th General Assembly. This will be her fourth year at TISL and first year serving on the Executive Council, and previously was a Representative and Senator representing MTSU. She also serves as MTSU’s head delegate. Fun fact: she met her fiancé at TISL!
At MTSU, she serves as the Chief of Staff of the Student Government Association, and is a Blue Elite Tour Guide, Gilman-McCain Scholar, and Buchanan Fellow. She is also interning at the local District Attorney, and previously interned with her Congressman.
After graduation, Hannah plans to attend law school to become a federal or state prosecutor and eventually become a professor of constitutional law and political theory.

HARRISON SIMPSON
Speaker of the House
Tennessee Technological University Class of 2025, B.S. in Computer Science conc. Cybersecurity Class of 2026, M.S. in Computer Science conc. Cybersecurity
Hometown: Sharon, TN
Harrison Simpson is a graduate student at Tennessee Technological University studying Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. Harrison served previously as a representative and as the speaker pro tempore of the House for the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature. At Tennessee Tech, Harrison served in the Student Government Association from 2022-2025 in multiple positions, including as a senator, committee chair, speaker pro tempore of the Senate, and student body vice president. In addition to participating in the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature, Harrison is a graduate research assistant studying application of large language models (LLMs) in embedded system security. He plans to graduate in December of 2026 and pursue a career in hardware security. His hobbies include photography and sports.

JEREMIAH CHAMBERS
Speaker Pro Tem of the House
Hometown: Hamilton County, TN
Jeremiah Chambers is a junior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, majoring in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Innovations in Honors. A dedicated student leader and advocate, Jeremiah has served in three General Assemblies, taking on roles that include lobbyist, Commissioner of Education under Governor Graybeal, and currently Speaker Pro Tempore of the House of Representatives.
At UTC, Jeremiah has been a consistent voice for students, serving as Director of Advocacy for the Residence Hall Association and as an advisor to the Freshman Senate. His work centers on expanding access, strengthening student representation, and ensuring every voice is heard.
Jeremiah plans to attend law school after graduation, where he will continue preparing for a career in public service. Guided by a commitment to advocacy, equity, and community leadership, Jeremiah Chambers is focused on building systems that work for everyone.

JACK FORD
Lobbying Director
University of Tennessee, Knoxville
Class of 2028, Double Major: Finance and Political Science
Hometown: Memphis, TN
Jack serves as the Executive Lobbying Director for the 57th General Assembly. His TISL journey began during his freshman year at the 55th General Assembly, where he first attended as a lobbyist. He returned the following year as a CEO, leading his lobbying firm to win the "Best Firm" award. This year, Jack is dedicated to making the lobbying branch an even more immersive and engaging experience for all delegates.
A student at the University of Tennessee, Jack is an active member of the TISL Club and the Music Industry Club. He is deeply passionate about entrepreneurship and is currently developing several business ventures. Looking ahead, Jack aims to pursue a career at the intersection of law, finance, and politics, with a specific interest in entertainment law.
In his free time, Jack is an avid concert-goer and a devoted fan of the Grateful Dead. When he isn't listening to his favorite band or exploring the mountains with his camera, he can be found hanging out with friends or cheering on the Vols in Neyland Stadium.

CHEYENNE BARE
Chief Justice
Cheyenne will be serving as the Chief Justice of the Tennessee Intercollegiate Supreme Court for the 57th General Assembly of the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature. This will be her fifth year at TISL, where she has previously served as a lobbyist, representative, and Associate Justice.
At Tennessee Tech, Cheyenne serves as the 2025-2026 Student Body President, a Trailblazer (tour guide), a 2026 Student Orientation Assistant, a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, and on multiple university committees. Cheyenne has devoted her time at TN Tech to servant leadership, while still focusing on her Political Science and Accounting studies. Outside of class and extracurriculars, Cheyenne works at 7Brew coffee cultivating kindness!
Cheyenne loves being creative and using her passions to create positive changes around her. Upon graduation, Cheyenne hopes to attend law school to pursue a career in law focused on policy writing and advocacy.

MACY MILLER
Communications Director

Class of 2027, Communication Studies Major with Minors in Human Rights and Global Citizenship, and General Business
Hometown: Erwin, TN
Macy Miller will be serving as the 57th General Assembly Communications Director. She has served as TISL Communications Deputy Director for the past two years and thoroughly enjoys every aspect that goes into TISL Media. Macy is a Junior at East Tennessee State University majoring in Communication Studies with minors in General Business, as well as Human Rights and Global Citizenship as part of the ETSU Honors College Global Citizen Program. Apart from her studies at ETSU, she is the Student Government Association Vice President for Finance and Administration, and an Orientation Leader. Upon graduation, Macy hopes to work in the Public Relations field with a focus on marketing.

MARIO ULLOA
Treasurer
East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Class of 2029, Political Science
Hometown: Cleveland, TN
Mario will be serving as Treasurer for the 57th General Assembly of the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature. He previously served as a representative in the 56th General Assembly, where he demonstrated strong leadership and a dedicated work ethic.
A student at East Tennessee State University with aspirations of attending law school, Mario brings practical financial management experience to the Executive Council, currently balancing his academic responsibilities while working two jobs. His hands-on understanding of budgeting and fiscal responsibility makes him well-suited to oversee TISL's financial operations and ensure the organization's resources are managed effectively.
Mario's drive and commitment to excellence, both in his professional endeavors and his TISL service, reflect his goal of pursuing a legal career focused on making a meaningful impact in his community.
